Important guidelines for your river adventure
Participating in river activities is inherently risky. By choosing to partake, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Shuttles run Thursday through Sunday, first shuttle 9AM and last shuttle 3PM. Walk-ins welcome — no reservation needed. Questions? Call 740-722-9448.
- Footwear requirement For your safety, shoes must be worn at all times during your river adventure.
- Private property All properties along the river are private. Respect the boundaries.
- Age limit Participants must be at least 3 years old to go on the river — no exceptions. Age requirements may increase based on river conditions, water levels, and experience. We reserve the right to adjust restrictions to keep every trip safe.
- Alcohol and drug policy Operating watercraft under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly illegal and could result in fines or imprisonment.
- Cooler restrictions Only personal, handheld coolers are allowed. No Styrofoam coolers and no glass items.
- Patio safety Running on the patio is prohibited.
- Valuables Lock any valuables in your vehicle.
- Key safety If your keys don't float, turn them in at the desk for safekeeping.
- Dress code Dress suitably for your river experience. Chances are, you'll get wet.
- Pet policy No pets allowed at this time.
- Safety reminder There are no lifeguards on duty along the river.

How much does it cost to rent a canoe?
Canoe rental is $30.00 per person. Pricing is based on a minimum of two people per canoe. Children 10 and under ride free when seated in the middle between two paying paddlers.
The canoe is an Old Town Discovery 158 with a total weight capacity of 1150 lbs.
How much does it cost to rent a kayak?
Kayak rental is $30.00 per person. Children 10 and under go free. The kayak is an Old Town Twister with a total weight capacity of 275 lbs.
How much does it cost to rent a tube?
Tube rental is $25.00 per person. Children 10 and under go free. The tube is a BOTE Hangout FLOATube with a total weight capacity of 300 lbs.
What trip is offered?
The featured trip is the Eagle Trip from the Tuscarawas River to the Muskingum River, covering approximately 4.5 miles.
Is there a minimum age to go on the river?
Yes. Participants must be at least 3 years old with no exceptions. Age requirements may increase based on river conditions, water levels, and experience.
Do I have to wear shoes?
